She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence Toomer; her sister Willie Mae Andrews; and her grandparents, Walter and Idell Ellis. She is survived by: her mother Johnnie Andrews; and her siblings, Jermaine Andrews, Lawrence Sopsher, Bobby Barney, Alvin Dykes, Yolanda James, Johanna Dykes, Shondel Sopsher, Vickie Dykes, Lorene Payne, Shelia Barney, Miranda Brown and Myeshia Anderson.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Crain and Sons Funeral Home (2000 Washington St, Franklinton, LA 70438). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
