She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Polidore; her parents, Daisy B. Scott and Freddy Lewis; her children, Loretta L. Carter and Aristede Polidore; her grandson Damion Lewis; and her siblings, Shirley Williams, Barbara Lewis, Sidney Jack, Sr., Jessie Davis and Charlie Walker Scott.

She is survived by: her children, David W. Lewis, Clatter W. Polidore, Joseph W. Polidore, Lorraine Lewis, Hester Henderson (Arthur) and Zuleika Polidore; and her siblings, Harry Scott, Michael Scott, Charles Scott and Joyce Davis. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, along with a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Triumph Baptist Church (1005 Iberia St, Franklin, LA 70538). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
