She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Veitinger; her son Scott Christopher Veitinger; her granddaughters, Kayla and Sarah Veitinger; her sister Susan Bayard Gaines (Greg); her nephews, Benjamin Bayard Gaines and Maddie; her cousins, Patty Lou Hidalgo, Emily Guillotte, Karen Fowler, Suzanne Chauvin and Brenda Donald; and her caregivers, Danielle LaGrange, Tasha Robicheaux, Emily Hanagriff, Emily Fontenot and Stephanie Lyons. She is also survived by five "sister".
