It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Murphy Alcina of Franklin, Louisiana, who passed away on April 4, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Evans Alcina; his wife Pearl Ruth O'Neal Alcina; his children, David Alcina and Eve Marie Alcina; his brothers, Paul Alcina and Mack Alcina; and his granddaughter Kimberly Nicole Alcina.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Alcina, Joseph Michael "Mike" Alcina Sr. (Flavia Theriot Alcina), Alisa Angela Alcina and Allen Stevens Alcina (Ragan Rodriguez Alcina); and his siblings, John E. Alcina (Mary), Ann Gerarve and Frances Chauvin (Randy). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
