Emma Lee Chauvin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emma Lee Chauvin of Franklin, Louisiana, born in Cameron, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Raymond Chauvin Sr.; her parents, Taylor Guillot and Bessie Wolfe Guillot; and her siblings, Taylor Henry "Sonny Boy" Guillot, Walter Guillot, Lloyd Guillot, Ezora Vaughn, Eunice Boutte and Ovena Boudreaux.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Raymond "Jerry" Chauvin Jr. (Claudine) of Franklin, Cindy Chauvin Higgins (Calvin Sr.) of Jeanerette and Andy Lee Chauvin (Nedra) of Springhill, TN; her grandchildren, Shontel C. Seneca (Mo), Candy C. Landry (Chad), Hollie C. Jones (Jeremy), Calvin Higgins Jr. (Lisa), Jessie Ray Higgins (Jewel), Chandler C. Guice (Griffin) and Dr. Kelsey C. Marble (Chris); her great grandchildren, Hunter, Hayden Seneca, Myriah, Everett Higgins, London Landry, Shaye, Saige Hebert, Dason Higgins, Christian, Lauren Eastin, Mary Lee, Sam, Tucker, Selah, Jude Guice, Waylon and Andy Marble; and her great great grandchildren, Blakely Landry and Beau Theriot. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ibert's Mortuary - Franklin (1007 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Perpetual Park Cemetery (1450 Sterling Rd, Franklin, LA 70538).
