He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Burke Sr. and Irene Burke Hebert; and his siblings, Michael Burke, Terry Burke and Evelyn Faulk.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Burke; his sons, Brad Burke (Christine), Bryan Burke (Melanie) and Steven Burke (Patricia); his grandchildren, Brandon, Kaitlin, Zack, Josh, Olivia and Ella; his great grandchildren, Greyson and Jameson; his sister Letty Curry; his daughters, Kathy Latiolais DeGlandon (Tracy) and Kristine Latiolais O'Brien (Kevin); his grandchildren, Charlie Matirne and Katie Matirne; and his pet Jacques. He is also survived by his family, friends.
