He was predeceased by: his former wife Stasha Sanchez; and his parents, Jose' Sanchez and Carmelina Sanchez. He is survived by: his wife Berta Moreno-Sanchez; his children, Cruz Sanchez Jr. (Alana) and Misty Moore Stratton (Gene); and his grandchildren, Braden Loustalot, Britlyn Sanchez, Camilla Sanchez, Aria Sanchez, Bentley Stratton and Kash Stratton. He is also survived by his 12 brothers and 4 sisters; as well as a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ibert's Mortuary (1007 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
