With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claude Colbert Jr. of Franklin, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2024 at the age of 75. Though Claude may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Claude touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Claude Colbert, Sr. and Lula Belle Roberson Colbert; his son Mark Colbert; and his sister Alma Michael. He is survived by : his wife Alice Colbert; his sons, Claude Colbert, III (Ericka) of Franklin, Louisiana and Eric Colbert (Laina) of Franklin, Louisiana; and his cousin Ada Lewis of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greater St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church (315 6th St, Franklin, LA 70538). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
