She was predeceased by: her father William; her husbands, Herman Washington and Vernon Toliver; and her son Rev. Dave McClarty. She is survived by: her children, Charles Darrell "Butch" McClarty, Jr. of Franklin, Penrose Taylor of Franklin and Marva Washington of Columbus, Ohio; her grandchildren, Tanyetha Ruffin (Reginald) of Blacklick, Bryan Pitts, Sr. (Janelle) of Pataskala, Bryan Pitts, Jr. of Pataskala, Charles Michael Slater, Jr. (Ashley) of Columbus, Shawn Slater of Columbus, Shelley McClarty of Texas, Dave McClarty, Jr. of Jeanerette, Andre McClarty of Jeanerette, TJ McClarty of Lafayette and Charles McClarty; and her nieces, Elizabeth "Lil Liz" Collins, Dorothy Collins, Jeannette McDaniel, Rose Richmond and Esther Lewis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
