He was predeceased by: his siblings, Austin Jr., Bill, Idelle, Betty and Mamie; and his granddaughter Megan.
He is survived by: his wife Letty Ann Brandt Williams; his children, John Lester Williams, Sr. (Cheryl), Carole Williams Bonney (Bill), Karen Williams Lancon (Ronnie) and Kim Williams Moore (Mike); and his siblings, Virgil, Ivy, Doris, Ethel, Tracey and Diane. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, along with a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
