He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammie Gulley and Jewell Gulley. He is survived by: his wife Annabelle Gulley; his children, Michael M. Gulley (Sara) and Claudia A. Nelson (Howard); his granddaughter Nicole Arendale (Richard); his great grandchildren, Richard Arendale, Annie Arendale, Jane Nelson Arendale, Caroline Nelson and William Nelson; and his cousin Helen Campbell.
