He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest "Pete" Jeter and Celestine Trahan Jeter; and his sisters, Sammy Richmond and Dolly Jeter Holland. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Babb, Liz Butter and Katie Lynn Harris; and his siblings, J. J. Jeter (Ann) of Forest Hill, Shirley Wade Jeter (Kim) of Carrollton, Texas, Rose Jeter of Forest Hill and Betty Perrin of Alexandria. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
