It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vivian Faye Butter of Forest Hill, Louisiana, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John B. Butter; her parents, Arthur Johnson and Hazel Johnson; her siblings, Arthur Johnson, William "Billy" Johnson, James "Jimmy" Johnson, Charles Thad Johnson, Wilma "Eloise" Clark and Mary "Betty" Kennedy; her son-in-law John Sharp; and her grandson William "Josh" Butter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Sharp of Forest Hill and Sheila Falcon (Dan) of Marrero; and her siblings, Carl "Boots" Johnson (Ruby) of Augusta, Georgia and Dorothy Billings of Alexandria. She is also survived by six grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Elwood Baptist Church (213 Elwood Rd, Forest Hill, LA 71430). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
