She was predeceased by: her parents, Dub Davis and Mable Davis; her son James Duane Ruby, Jr.; her brother Joseph W. Davis, Jr.; and her grandson Christopher Butter.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Ruby, Sr. of Forest Hill; her daughter Tami Butter (Walter) of Forest Hill; her granddaughters, Miranda Schimmel (Bruce) and Kristen Butter; and her great grandchildren, Xavier, Aiden and Ryleigh Schimmel.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Children's fund at Elwood Baptist Church.
