It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Archie Pullen Melder Poole of Forest Hill, Louisiana, born in Jonesville, Louisiana, who passed away on April 30, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Billy Gene Melder and Samuel N. Poole, Sr.; her parents, Verlie Tidwell Pullen and Charles Walter Pullen; and her siblings, Ernest Henry Pullen and Marjorie Roy.
She is survived by: her son Michael Gene Melder; her grandchildren, Michael G. Melder II (Magan), Cade Austin Melder (Morgan Wampler) and Jennifer Melder; her great grandchild Amalie Josephine Melder; her stepchildren, Samuel N. Poole, Jr. (Susan) and Kimberly Poole McInnis; her stepgrandchildren, Adam Langston Poole (Katie), Aaron Murphy Poole (Jessica), Meghan Poole Tate (Tim) and Devin McInnis (Tiffany); her great grandchildren, Murphy Wallace Poole, Carter Johnson Poole, Knox McInnis, Sloan McInnis, Lily Ruth Poole, Madeline McInnis, Lorelei Poole, Frankie Kate Poole, Samantha Tate, Suttyn Tate, Lawson Tate, Langston Tate and Ava McInnis; and her siblings, Walterine Smith (Ken), Lea Anne Switzer (Al), Robert Melder (Earlene), Dr. Vera Johnson (George) and Pattie Pebbles.
