He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl York Tucker and Fanny Holley Tucker; and his son David Tucker. He is survived by: his wife Carol Tucker; his sons, Veachel Jr. (Barbara) and Michael (Leslie); his daughter-in-law Teri; his sisters-in-law, Patsy Taylor (Albert) and Cathy Wiles (William); his grandchildren, Veachel Tucker III (Taylor), Christine Tucker Bartlett (Josh), Steven Tucker, Jonathan Tucker (Heather), Matthew Tucker (Abbie), Rebecca Tucker, Amanda Tucker, Taylor Tucker Welty (Chris), Ryan Tucker and Kellie Tucker; and his great grandchildren, Brandon Tucker, Harlow Tucker, Briggs Tucker, Halen Tucker, Charlie Bartlett, Lillian Tucker, Bradley Bartlett, Brooks Tucker, Charlotte Welty and Jovi Tucker.
