She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Reid and Ellen Reid; her son Lee Claude Morse; her siblings, Bonnie Husser, Velton Reid, Ellis Reid and Bessie Reid Berry; and her stepgrandson Josh Pierre.
She is survived by: her children, Leon "Lonnie" Morse (Anita), Maryellen "Gennie" Hernandez, Flynn Karl Morse (Cindy), Eric Velton "Pete" Morse (Sandy) and Maryann L. Phares (Steven); her grandchildren, Lonette Ramsay (Jeremy), Tucker Morse (Blair), Laney Carnegie (John), Bryanna Bessette (Clayton), Beth Guillory, Adam Hernandez, Jared Morse (Corrine), Jordan Morse (Brooklyn), Jathan Morse (Katie), Katy Miley (Wade), Erica Morse, Wade Phares (Brittney), Aaron Phares and Betty King (Jimmy); her stepgranddaughter Rebecca Trinque Lebene (Dustin); her great grandchildren, Cayne Ramsay, Ali Ramsay, Caroline Carnegie, Libby Carnegie, Xander Bessette, Grayson Morse, Claire Morse, Elise Morse, Tanner Morse, Gray Morse, Ella Morse, Beckett Morse, Henley Morse, Asher Morse, Jeb Miley, Trace "Gibby" Miley, Silas Phares, Oakley Phares and Eli Phares; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Joshua Trinque Labene, Alloy Trinque Labene and Steven Pierre. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the The Pentecostals (17700 LA-40, Covington, LA 70435). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the New Hope Pentecostal Church Cemetery (53525 New Hope Church Rd, Folsom, LA 70437).
