He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam J. Caruso and Rosalie Buriege Caruso of Baton Rouge; and his brother Wayne "Moon" Caruso. He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Caruso (Amanda) and Jacob Caruso; his grandchildren, Sasha Caruso and Sammy Caruso; his siblings, Dana Chustz (Rickey), Sam Caruso Jr. (Kathy), Benny "Buck" Caruso (Jane), Kenny Caruso (Mickey) and Chris Caruso (Renee); and his partner Karol Byrd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
