She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ann Stewart McManus and Gerald Lance McManus; her husband Mark Barbara; her children, Amy Barbara Ruiz and Mario Ruiz; her grandson Jacob Ruiz; her siblings, Michelle McManus Zara, Albert Zara, Margie Stewart Langmead and Tom Langmead; her nieces and nephews, Jessica Zara, Elizabeth Langmead, Anthony Zara, Tom Langmead, III and Cameron Dembrun; her sisters, Lisa Tarto and Jennifer Womack; and also Angelita Thompson. She was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
