It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Patricia Lovell Girling of Folsom, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Edwin Girling, Sr.; her daughter Linda Louise Warren Charleville; her parents, Ola Juanita Bernucho Lovell and Uel LeRoy "Roy" Lovell; her brothers, Robert "Butsy" Pierre Morton and William Andrew Lovell; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Elizabeth Girling O'Keeffe and Marie Anastasia "Nesta" Girling Leckert.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Elizabeth Canal; her son-in-law George Marcus Canal of Slidell; her son Louis Edwin Girling, Jr. (Alejandro Crespo Lajes) of San Francisco, California; her grandchildren, Sarah Diane Warren Poole (Timothy Poole), Kelly Nicole Warren Landry (Joshua Keith Mayeux), Lauren Elizabeth Canal Waller (Brandon Matthew Waller), Michelle Louise Warren Warwick (John Sterling Warwick), Marla Grace Canal Bartlett (William Travis Bartlett), Matthew Joseph Warren (Magen Kringlie Warren) and Scott Barry Charleville, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Ebin Michael, Coby Blaine, Ashlyn Elise, Jacob Adam, Ethan Joseph, Avielle Louise, Brinley Mae, Weston Owen, Brent Sterling, Ronny Wayne, William Jameson, William Caleb, Cadence Lane, Mason Joseph and Cohen Matthew; her brother Uel LeRoy Lovell, Jr. (Geraldine Lovell) of St. Rose, Louisiana; her niece Laurie Ann Lovell Ehrmann (David Ehrmann); and her nephew Edmund L. Leckert, III of Boise, Idaho.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and family.
