She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Simmons Sr. and Marie Clay Simmons; her husband Paul H. Hanemann; and her son Gary Hanemann. She is survived by: her children, Chris Hanemann (Lynnell), Karen Keating (Rodney) and Paula Dufrene (Mark); her siblings, John Simmons Jr. (Beverly) and Mary Doyle (Alvin); her grandchildren, Amanda Garner, Lauren Barrosse (Randy), Tyler Keating (Ashley), Ashley Thomas (David), Samantha Gilbert (James) and Caitlin Jensen (Jack); and her great grandchildren, Hoss Garner, Baylee Barrosse, Brantley Barrosse, Riggins Keating, Abigail Thomas, Lorna Thomas, Ian Thomas, Edmund Thomas, Obed Gilbert, Judah Gilbert and Isaac Gilbert.
