He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Alford and Ruby Alford (Thaxton); his sister Ruby E. Alford; his former wife Carolyn Judy Alford; his sister-in-law Betty Alford; and his daughter-in-law Shelley DeLatin Alford.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Alford of Florien, LA; his children, Dewayne Alford of Florien, LA, Kenneth Alford of Florien, LA, Robby Laurence (Chasity) of Toro, LA, Ray Alford of Florien, LA, Cheryl Pollock (Paul) of Hornbeck, LA and Phyllis Jeansonne (Anthony) of Florien, LA; his stepchildren, Anna Brewer (Robert) of Many, LA and Warner Dutton of Nebraska; and his siblings, Gene Alford (Gay) of Hornbeck, LA, Travis Alford of Plainview, LA, Billy Alford of Plainview, LA, Robert Alford (Margie) of Maysville, GA, Phillip Alford (Melba) of Plainview, LA, Elizabeth "Liz" Alford of Florien, LA and Nita Rose Alford of Plainview, LA. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
