He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Savell and Daisy Savell (Dalton); his siblings, Clarence Savell, Henry Savell, Edgar Savell, Milton Savell, Evie Lea Walker and Opal Walker Corley; his son-in-law Billy Byles; and his granddaughters, Sandra "Sandy" Savell Terrell and Memphis Grace Arnold.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Nelson Savell of Florien, LA.; his children, Lloyd A. Savell (Donna) of Negreet, LA. and Gale Savell Byles of Many, LA.; his sister Eunice Gentry of Many, LA.; and his grandchildren, Carolyn Anthony (Brad), Sonya Savell Townson and Bubba Savell (Kaci). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
