He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Otttis Hardin, Sr. and Sybil Smith Hardin; and his father-in-law M. A. McComic. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hardin of Florien, LA; his children, Frank Hardin (Stephanie) of Clarksville, TN., Jessica Hardin of Baytown, TX. and Kami Jones of Florien, LA.; his siblings, Ruby Edwards of Baytown, TX. and Karl Hardin of Many, LA.; his grandchildren, Erica Thaxton, Blake Powell, Nicole Hardin, Madelynn Jones, Justin Locke, Gracyen Jones, Lillie Hardin, Lindsey Hardin and Billy Hardin; and his great grandchildren, Audrey Thaxton and Silas Joe Thaxton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
