She was predeceased by: her husband Loyd Savell; her parents, Luther Lois Sandel, Sr. and Clara Alice Sandel (Thompson); her siblings, Luther Sandel, Jr., Annie Laurie Pennington and Ewel Ava Hendrickson; and her son-in-law Rayford Eddington.
She is survived by: her children, Louise Eddington of Many, LA, Virginia DuBose (Ben) of Florien, LA, Margaret Witt of Florien, LA, Freeman Savell (Christy) of Stonewall, LA and Marie Calhoun (Buddie) of Natchitoches, LA; and her sister Vivian Tynes of Lumberton, TX. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
