She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey Thaxton; her parents, Otis Westfall and Sylvie Westfall; her sister Geneva Bell; her brother-in-law Bobbie Joe; her brother Charlie Westfall; her sisters-in-law, Pat (Maurice Westfall) and Janice Westfall; and her nephew Scotty Bell.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Thaxton (Eylda G.) and Neil Thaxton (Becky); her grandchildren, Kylene Faye, Tyler Joe (Erica) and Bradley (Katie); her great grandchildren, Jace, Sam, Audrey and Silas; and her sister Elaine Canady (Charles) of Lumberton, TX. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
