He was predeceased by: his daughter Laura Cook; his parents, Buell Cook and Claudia Cook; his brother Ronald Cook; and his stepson Steven Connella.
He is survived by: his wife Hattie "Chinky" Cook of Florien, LA; his children, Steven Cook of Florien and Katherine Aras of Bridge City, TX; his stepchildren, Clifford Connella of Florien, Mary "Susie" Cleveland of Lineville, AL and Karen Connella of Florien; and his brother Robert "Bobby" Cook of Pineville, LA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and extended family.
