She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Horton and Nancy Exa Horton (Randolph); her former husband Willie J. Corley, Sr. (Bill); her son Dr. Jack Corley, Jr.; her son-in-law Johnny Stephens; and her grandchildren, Brett Gardner and Patti Stephens.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmie S. Hammond; her daughters, Veda Gay Corley and Christy Kay Stephens; her stepdaughter Stephanie Hammond Barineau; her sister Maggie DuHamel; her sister-in-law Fern Koonce; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Corley. She is also survived by four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
