With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jo Anders (Florien, Louisiana), born in Hemphill, Texas, who passed away on April 30, 2019 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Shankers and Lillian Cook (Craig); and her daughters, Renee Smith and Lasondra Smith Roy. She is survived by: her children, Danny Smith, Jr. of Sunset, LA and Tempra Fanguy of Many, LA; and her sister Judy Fontenot (Terry) of Zwolle, LA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; along with a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
