It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ardesta Rose Jones of Florien, Louisiana, who passed away on July 25, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her sisters, Pearlie Mae Litters Johnson, Bernice Litters Johnson and Joyce Litters Abbott; her children, Charles Donald Garner, Carl Allen Garner, Eugene Joseph Garner and Nita Garner Thomas; her sister Jones; her daughters-in-law, Gwendolyn Garner of Lake Charles, LA. and Debra Ferrier Garner of Katy, TX.; her grandchildren, Dr. Mario Garner of Spring, TX., Marina Garner Moore (Brandon Sr.), Caitlin Garner Turner (Melvin Wayne, Jr.) of Katy, TX and Courtney Thomas of Dallas, TX.; and her sister Inez Litters Doyne of Sacramento, CA.. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, and friends.
