It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clovis Burns (Flatwoods, Louisiana), who passed away on March 14, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Burns; her parents, Curtis White and Daisy White; her siblings, Ray White, Walter White, James White, Junior White, Herman White, Rachel Bynog, Claudis Rister and Viola Vinzant; and her grandson Benjamin Baugh.
She is survived by: her children, Terry L. Goynes, Sr. of Flatwoods, Dexter Goynes (Debbie) of Glenmora and Renee Goynes of Flatwoods; and her siblings, Leon White of Flatwoods, Leona Brogdon of Alexandria and Leola Vinzant of Campti. She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
