He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanders Rond and Mary Antley Rond; his wife Helen Marie Willis Rond of Pitkin; his children, Roger Dean Rond, Lenard Rond and Cynthia Dalton; his siblings, Fred Rond, Otis Rond, Ted Rond, Alfie Gilcrease and Viola Ferguson; his grandsons, Timothy Rond and Dylan Bass; and his great grandchild Antonio Alejandro Sosa (Lovie Rond).
He is survived by: his friends, Jerry Bridges, C. D. Worsham and Rodney Johnson; his children, Sharon Boswell (George) of Fisher, LA., Rebecca Dowdy of Monroe, LA., Vicky Marchelle Alford (Ronnie) of Leesville, LA. and Gordy Rond of Ward, AR.; his son-in-law Paul Gregory Dalton; and his sister Barbara Flora of Keithville, LA.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
