Leeanna Marie Smith Briggs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leeanna Marie Smith Briggs of Fifth Ward, Louisiana, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Carl Briggs, Jr.; her parents, Leon Smith and Una Carmouche Smith; and her siblings, Foster Smith, Bessie Laborde and Roberta Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Briggs; her children, Tony Briggs (Judy) of Bentley, Mark Briggs (Christina) of Plaucheville, Misty Descant (Tommy) of Fifth Ward and Shawna Briggs (Thomas Allain) of Baton Rouge; and her sister Jeanette Smith of Hessmer. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
