With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Dennis Thomas Jr. of Ferriday, Louisiana, born in Meridian, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, William Dennis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William Dennis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas, and Dennis Thomas, Sr.; his sister Louise Wright; and his close friends, O'Dare Hammett, Bobby Marks and Micky Gilley.
He is survived by: his significant other Jean Knight Thomas; his children, Linda Morgan (Todd) of Ferriday, LA and Jimmy Thomas of Poncha Springs, CO; and his granddaughter Emma Thomas of Savannah, GA.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sevier United Methodist Church (1830 EE Wallace Boulevard, Ferriday, LA 71334). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
