With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgie Taylor of Ferriday, Louisiana, born in Lexington, Mississippi, who passed away on November 1, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo Hawkins and Merty Hawkins (Ellis Taylor); her son Randy Taylor (Letha); her grandson Shane Seyfarth; her great grandchild Storm Cangemi; her daughter-in-law Dianne Taylor; and her siblings, Lawrence Hawkins, Lois Lucious and Robbie Woodyear.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Seyfarth, William of Monterey, LA, David Taylor of Ferriday, LA and Tammy Taylor of Ferriday, LA; her grandchildren, Melissa Cangemi, Paul, Heath Seyfarth, Amanda, Dana McGivaren, Chris, Janee Guice, Wes, Stephanie Henslee, Brent, Jason Taylor, Danielle, Abby Taylor and Melanie; and her extended family, Rayford, Gloria Buckles, Nellie Harrell, Margaret Lee, Jerry Marsh and Cheryl Havard. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
