He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Willie Gavin and Candace Flossie Gavin; his siblings, Julius Gavin, Dennis Gavin, Charles Gavin, Wendell Gavin and Lydia Mathews; his wife Margie Gavin of Ferriday, LA; his daughters, Candace Gavin of Ridgecrest, LA and Gayle Wimberly (David) of Brandon, MS; his grandchildren, Amanda Gonzaga (Juan), Wayne Wimberly (Heather Donahoo), Andrew Gore (Merisha), Scott Wimberly, Landon Dowdy (Jackie), Robbie Gore (Dalya) and Corey Dowdy (Megan); his great grandchildren, Isaac, Nathan, Robert, Joshua, Ianna, Adelin, Elijah, Mary Evelyn, Hayes, Evie, Bryce and Lucas; and his siblings, Carlon Gavin of New Britton, CT, Marvin Gavin (Elaine) of Laurel, MS and Willie Clyde Moore of Jasper County, MS.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
