He was predeceased by: his parents, Elie Olier and Agnes Olier; his son Richard J. Olier, II; and his siblings, Mary Holt, Elaine Volentine, Audris, Cleo and Douglas Olier.
He is survived by: his wife Cora; his daughters, Pam Clayton (Charles), Wanda Brown (Tommy) and Angie Waller (Wayne); and his grandchildren, Erin Watts (Ron), Chase Clayton (Mandi), Lauren Myers (Ken), Sarah Bradley, Paige Mendoza (Beto), Joanna McAdams (Kade), Jordan Seibert (Jacob), Jessica Harvey (Randall), Julia McGhee (Doug), Kalep and Kamdon Olier. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
