With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Prentiss Hinson of Ferriday, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clifton and Eva Myrtle Hinson; his brother Jerry "Conway" Hinson; and his mother-in-law Bertha Graves. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hinson; his children, Kim Morrison (William), Stacye Schwab (Keith), Hayley House (Adam Hester) and Hannah House; his siblings, Linda Beach (Buck), Ted Hinson (Angela) and Cindy Snyder (Blackshear); his father-in-law Fred Graves; his sister-in-law Melanie Hinson; and his grandchildren, Hannah Rahn (Casey), Julia Morrison, Jacob Armand (Grace Anne) and Olivia Armand. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Young's Funeral Home (609 EE Wallace Boulevard N, Ferriday, LA 71334). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
