She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Carter and Lubertia Whitley; and her daughters, Quintella White and Mable Daniels. She is survived by: her children, Tony Lewis (Pamela), Robert Lewis, Tameka Lewis of Ferriday, LA, Agnes Franklin of Ferriday, LA, Tunda Wannamaker of Dallas, TX and Renata Lewis of Dallas, TX; and her brother Joe Carter.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Concordia Funeral Home (609 Alabama Ave, Ferriday, LA 71334). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM.
