She was predeceased by: her mother Alberta Green Washington; and her children, Jesse Anderson, Jerry Anderson and Odessa Anderson. She is survived by: her children, James Anderson (Tulla) of Houston, TX, Paul Anderson (Lorena) of Crystal City, TX, Kelly Anderson (Alma) of Deville, LA, Timothy Anderson of Ferriday, LA, Micheal Anderson of Natchez, MS, William Anderson of Dallas, TX, Larry Washington (Angela) of Burleson, TX and Arlene Vinson (Joseph); her siblings, Wilbur Washington (Hazel) of Ferriday, Curtis Washington (Betty) of Thibodaux, LA, Rodney Washington (Christine) of Vidalia, LA and Catherine Leonard of Greensburg, LA; and her grandchildren, Shalandra Anderson, Stanley Anderson and Christine Anderson of Arlington, TX. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; fifty-three great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the East Jefferson General Hospital (4200 Houma Blvd, Metairie, LA 70006). Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Concordia Funeral Home (609 Alabama Ave, Ferriday, LA 71334).
