With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Effie Norwood in Ferriday, Louisiana, born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on May 2, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Harold Herpin and Mae Denahm Herpin; her grandson Stephen Charles Norwood; her brothers, Bo Herpin and Bud Herpin; her nephew Randy Carl Herpin; and her daughter-in-law Lamesa Cambre Norwood.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Boyd Norwood (Joshephine) of Parland, TX., David Norwood (Pam) of St. Joseph, LA. and Joseph Edward Norwood (Tanya) of Larose, LA. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude Children Hospital or Charity of Choice.
