He is survived by: his wife Jerry Smith Cook of Ferriday, LA; his son Kerwin Cook (Khaliah) of Haughton, LA; his siblings, Henderson Cook (Doretha) of Ferriday, LA, Delnora Cook (Cynthia) of Ferriday, LA, Robert Cook (Rubbie), Proffie Cook (Donna) of Winchester, VA, Melvin Cook (Brenda) of Lake Charles, LA, Lucille Coble of Springfield, MA, Beatrice Williams of Ferriday, LA and Elizabeth Whitley of Ferriday, LA; his grandchildren, Arman Cook Brown of Baton Rouge, LA, Anzhel Brown of Baton Rouge, LA, Kerwin Cook, Jr. of Ruston, LA and Kemani Cook of Haughton, LA; and his extended family Zion Hill.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
