We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2024, at the age of 79, Amanda Wilson of Ferriday, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Wilson and Rosie Taylor Wilson; her sisters, Deloris Wilson and Doris Fountain; and her grandson Anthony Wilson.
She is survived by: her husband James "Dewey" Milligan; her children, Sherrie Bingham (LJ) of Ferriday, Angela Mitchell (Demarcus) of Ferriday, Carolyn Wilson of Ferriday, Kathryn Moore (Hilton) of Baton Rouge, LA, Sylvester Wilson (Rhonda) of Foley, AL, Niles Wilson (Earline) of LaPlace, LA, Arthur Wilson (Josephine) and Robert Wilson; her sister-in-law Emma Conner (James) of Ferriday, LA; and her close friend Ella Mae Bruce of Natchez, MS. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and family friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Concordia Funeral Home (609 Alabama Ave, Ferriday, LA 71334). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM.
