It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Edward Hammon of Farmerville, Louisiana, born in Bastrop, Louisiana, who passed away on March 27, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Diane Smith Hammon; and his parents, E. W. Hammon and Anna Orene Naff Hammon. He is survived by: his daughters, Cassanna Eileen Wuensche and Chief Warrant Officer John A.; his grandchildren, Charlotte Wuensche of Lebanon, Pennsylvania and John "Jack" Wuensche Jr. of Lebanon, Pennsylvania; his former wife Beverly Defee McDonald of Lebanon, Pennsylvania; his sister Charlotte Brown; his brother-in-law J. E. Brown of West Monroe, Louisiana; his brother James Newton Hammon; his sister-in-law Pam Hammon of Bastrop, Louisiana; his nieces, Christy Merriweather (Michael) of Bastrop, Louisiana, Amy Antley (Eric) of Downsville, Louisiana and Julie Hayes (Michael) of Farmerville, Louisiana; and his nephew Jay Brown Jr. of West Monroe, Louisiana.
