He is survived by: his wife Judy Townsend of Farmerville, LA; his daughter Tina Pomacino (Jimmy John) of Farmerville, LA; his grandchildren, Tenley Ann Crotty, Tatum L. Crotty, Colonel Gerald Townsend (Debbie), Richard Townsend (Judy) and Courtney Townsend (Misty); and his sisters, Angie Abernathy (Chester), Cathy Paul and Michelle Keller (Mike). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
