It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Wright Hayes of Farmerville, Louisiana, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Patty Dean Hayes; his son Paul Wright Hayes, II; his parents, Charles Barnes, Sr. and Leda Mae Caskey Hayes; and his siblings, Charles Barnes Hayes, Jr., Bonnie Jean McMillan and Sibyl Ann Green.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Hayes Boyd (Keith), Kelly Hayes Johnson (Ron) and Paula Hayes Strickland (Chris); and his grandchildren, Katherine Hayes Black (Dakota), Mel Edwards (Stephanie), Amy Edwards, Johnathan Boyd (Carisa), Hannah Dixon Felkel (Stewart), Ryan Phelps (Tiffany), Kyle Phelps (Jess), Rachael Strickland Morgan (Jacob) and Christian Paul Strickland (Ashlyn). He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
