He was predeceased by: his parents, Minor Carol Patterson and Ambrey Houge Patterson; and his son Timothy Lloyd Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen Cassels Patterson; his sons, Robert Patterson (Della) and Van Patterson; his brothers, Claude Patterson (Pat) and Wayne Patterson (Ann); his siblings-in-law, Harry Cassels (Joyce), Gayle Baker (Roy) and Nell Kenworthy (Eugene); his grandchildren, Josh Grant, Charlie Patterson, Matthew Patterson, Natalie Patterson, Stacey Patterson, Justin Patterson and Ava Patterson; and his great grandchildren, Riley Gaar, Noah Lane Patterson, Jerimiah Acres and Jewleyana Patterson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
