She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Prentice Eugene Brantley (Duck); her parents, Annie Mae Thibodaux and Ivan Lewis Hawthorne; her stepfather Johnny L. Thibodaux; her siblings, Lillie Mae Jackson, Sherwin Faye Filiberti, Louise Grant, John C. Matthews (Buddy), Billy Ray Matthews and Lewis Kenneth Hawthorne; her daughter Kristy Brantley Stewart (Rufus Jackson Stewart); her granddaughter Madelin Brantley Stewart of Collinsville, MS.; and her brothers, Bobby Narron Hawthorne and Nile Sam Hawthorne.
