He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elias Saunders and Lois Hollis Heard; and his siblings, J. T. Saunders and Frances Cummings. He is survived by: his wife Sue Saunders; his children, Donovan Saunders (Donna), Melanie Chapman (Arden) and Suzonne Jolly (Clyde); his grandchildren, Jonathan JollyStone (Libby), Melissa Keaster (Brandon), Natalie Wise (Chad), Diana Boggs (Chris), Morgan Tucker (Nathan), Hannah Morrison (Rich) and Kristy Gandy (Matt); and his sisters, Sue Nugent, Peggy Allbritton (Harold) and Ruth DeVoll (Eddie). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
