He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Doolittle, Sr. and Tennie; and his siblings, Barbara Thompson Raymond (Richard), Alva Doolittle Jr. (Mildred) and Johnny Doolittle (Belle).
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Terral Doolittle; his children, Mike Doolittle (Laurie) of Alexandria, April Burney of Farmerville and Christopher Doolittle (Courtnei) of Ruston; and his grandchildren, Paxton Burney, Kaylee Doolittle, Brantlee Doolittle and Allie Doolittle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
